EXTEND AFTERCARE Following your Extend treatment, we recommend professional top-up treatments every 2-3 weeks. By doing that your lash extensions could actually last up to two months. Why every few weeks? Because your natural lashes have a lifecycle of around 90 days, and are constantly shedding, which will cause your lash extensions to naturally fall off also. The maintenance procedure simply adds extra individual extensions to those places where your natural lashes have completed their lifecycle – keeping your stunning new look in tip-top condition. You can also look after your lashes at home with our Coating Sealant. Nourishing lashes to keep them stronger and full. Ready to remove your lashes? Do not attempt to remove your individual lash extensions at home. Professional lash removal is required to ensure no damage to your natural lashes.
Hints and Tips for keeping your individual lash extensions for longer For the first 48 hours after any Nouveau Lashes Extend treatment it’s important not to allow water to come in to contact with your lashes For 2 days afterwards do not steam your face, use a steam bath, swim or wash your face with hot water Do not use waterproof mascara Use oil free make-up remover if mascara is worn (only use a water-based mascara) Do not attempt to perm or use lash curlers on Nouveau Lashes extensions Don’t rub your eyes when washing your face - always pat the lashes dry after cleansing Ensure lashes are not manipulated into different positions (e.g. when sleeping, cleansing the face, applying moisturiser or cosmetics) Ask your Nouveau Lashes technician for expert advice in how best to look after your choice of lashes. Hints and Tips for keeping your Express Lashes for longer For the first 48 hours after any Nouveau Lashes treatment it’s important not to allow water to come in to contact with your lashes Do not use waterproof mascara Use oil free make-up remover if mascara is worn (only use a water-based mascara) Do not attempt to perm or use lash curlers on Nouveau Lashes extensions Don’t rub your eyes when washing your face - always pat the lashes dry after cleansing Ensure lashes are not manipulated into different positions (e.g. when sleeping, cleansing the face, applying moisturiser or cosmetics)
READY TO REMOVE YOUR LASHES?
We always recommend that filler (cluster) lashes and individual lash extensions are removed in the salon after 2-3 weeks. To avoid damaging your natural lashes, please do not attempt to remove these kinds of lashes at home. However, strip lashes can be safely removed at home.
If you’re in any doubt, please ask your Nouveau Lashes technician for expert advice on how best to look after your lashes.
To remove your strip lashes
Apply eye make-up remover for a few seconds to soften the adhesive
Take the outer corner of the lash and gently peel off the strip lash from the skin
Repeat on other eye
Using eye make-up remove to clean the strip lashes of all make-up, Including mascara
Use tweezers or fingers to remove any adhesive from the strip lash.
Clean the strip lashes with caution, so as not to cause damage
Replace the lashes on the lash tray to retain their shape
Careful use and storage of Nouveau Lashes will mean they can be reused
Following your Express treatment, you can look after your lashes at home with our Coating Sealant. Nourishing lashes not only strengthens them, but also helps to keep them looking healthy.
LVL ENHANCE AFTERCARE LVL Enhance is a low maintenance treatment meaning you don’t need to return to the salon after your treatment. However we do recommend using our Nouveau Lashes Conditioning Serum at home to help nourish and strengthen lashes and keep them looking healthy. Ultimately, this means you can enjoy the effects of your LVL Enhance treatment for longer. To keep your lashes looking blacker than black, return to the salon after 4 weeks to top up your tint.
